Intellectual property

The Site, its content, software, texts, graphics and illustrations are the property of HIBOO and therefore benefit from copyright protection due to their originality and resulting from a personalised effort bearing the mark of intellectual contribution.

The architecture of the database is also protected by copyright.

The content of the database and the substantial investments made to build, verify and present the database are protected by the sui generis right of database producers.

Under Article L113-1 of the French Intellectual Property Code, authorship belongs to the person under whose name the work is disclosed. In practice, this will be either the author of the work or, in the event of an assignment, the person to whom the rights have been assigned.

The rights holder of a website may bring an action for infringement in the event of an attack on their intellectual property rights, as well as an action for unfair competition and/or parasitism where a competitor’s behaviour is contrary to honest commercial practices.

Use or reproduction, even partial, of the texts, videos or graphics it contains is prohibited without the author’s prior written consent, and would be liable to constitute infringement. Likewise, any reproduction, representation, adaptation, translation and/or modification, partial or total, or transfer to another site or blog is prohibited.
